Corrosion/Integrity Engineer

Corrosion Technologies is involved in the design, application and maintenance of cathodic protection and AC mitigation systems to control corrosion on metallic structures that are in contact with an electrolyte such as soil or water. We provide service to all Western Canada.

Corrosion Technologies has been in the Cathodic Protection business for over 25 years. We pride ourselves on our quality, efficiency, and integrity of the services we provide.

Skilled/Required Competencies

Skilled/Required Competencies

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a reputable University

  • Registration as a P.Eng. with APEGA (or Eligibility to register) is a requirement for the position

  • Prior work experience in the Corrosion/Integrity field is required

  • NACE/AMPP certification is considered an asset

  • Ability to travel for work required

  • Valid driver’s license is required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Remote field work when required

  • Effective problem solving and time management skills

Work with Management and Operations to deliver excellent service and solutions to our clients.

  • Provide technical expertise to field staff to help trouble-shoot Cathodic Protection issues

  • Assist with Cathodic Protection/Corrosion field data collection when required

  • Have knowledge and know when specialty surveys are required such as over-the-line, depth of cover, close interval CP and coating surveys

  • Manage field technicians as required

  • Assist with Cathodic Protection design and project pricing

  • Interpret data and summarize findings in technical reports

  • Communicate effectively with clients in both field and office roles

  • Follow all relevant HSE procedures and policies
